The annual Leading the Charge EV Road Trip will be stopping at Richmond this year to showcase the latest in Electric Vehicle technology.

On display will be at least 4 Tesla's, a Hyundai Ioniq, a Renault Zoe and possibly a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV along with several Local Nissan Leafs. Come along and experience a drive, or at least a ride in the future of automotive transport.
This year they are travelling from Bluff to Cape Reinga again with about 26 events planned. They are excited to announce that Chelsea Sexton from the USA is joining them again for the entire trip!
They have the IONIQ confirmed, a BMW i3 and one or two Leafs coming along to show that anyone can make this trip. And of course there will be a few Tesla's to drool over as always. They would love to see any EV owners join them at the Richmond event or on any of the other legs nationwide.
It is their goal to try to let as many people as possible experience a drive, or at least a ride in the future of automotive transport.
